The Brisbane River Flood Study completed in 2017, highlighted that a number of buildings within the Mt Crosby precinct needed to be upgraded or relocated to increase the flood resilience of these assets. The East Bank Flood Resilience program focuses on mitigating the flooding risk to this essential infrastructure and renewing vital assets, while paying tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the site.

Pleased to work with the FGF team again in Cairns who are delivering road upgrades to the Kennedy Highway along a stretch of 16km between Mareeba and Smithfield. The safety improvements will make this section of road much safer.
Appreciated working with Relationships Australia to fix a long standing acoustic issue in their Mackay counselling offices. Good acoustic isolation between their counselling rooms means they can get on with providing their excellent service to those struggling in these interesting times.
Through detailed measurements we found the construction defect that was causing the isolation issues. Fixed with a good tradie and some mass loaded filler. A quick and cost effective solution to a major problem!
Matrix Acoustics is pleased to work again with Georgiou to deliver the Indooroopilly river walk. This 790m, 5 metre wide pedestrian and two-way separated cyclist facility. This project was required to manage vibration and noise impacts of large bridge construction piling as well as micro-piling very close to vibration sensitive receptors. With Matrix Acoustic design work and Matrix Hub real-time monitoring, the project was able to maximise works while maintaining compliance with project noise and vibration criteria.
