Mt Crosby WTP – East Bank Enabling Works

The Brisbane River Flood Study completed in 2017, highlighted that a number of buildings within the Mt Crosby precinct needed to be upgraded or relocated to increase the flood resilience of these assets. The East Bank Flood Resilience program focuses on mitigating the flooding risk to this essential infrastructure and renewing vital assets, while paying tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the site.

Matrix Acoustics is pleased to be assisting McIlwain in maintaining environmental compliance and ensuring works have no detrimental impact on structures of heritage significance in the project area.

Coffs Harbour Bypass

Matrix Acoustics is proud to be part of the winning consortia for the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project. Led by constructors Ferrovial and Gamuda, with the design team led by Arcadis, this project is set to provide huge benefits to the Coffs Harbour community.

Hope Island Bridge vibration monitoring

Abergeldie Construction are preparing to undertake improvement works on Hope Island Bridge. Matrix Acoustics is pleased to be providing long-term high resolution vibration monitoring to ensure the project maintains stringent vibration criteria.

Our real-time vibration monitoring system using Instralabs PVH01 vibration meters are able to provide secondly vibration data for acceleration, velocity, and displacement for all three orthogonal axes as well as the vector sum.

Indooroopilly River Walk

Matrix Acoustics is pleased to work again with Georgiou to deliver the Indooroopilly river walk. This 790m, 5 metre wide pedestrian and two-way separated cyclist facility. This project was required to manage vibration and noise impacts of large bridge construction piling as well as micro-piling very close to vibration sensitive receptors. With Matrix Acoustic design work and Matrix Hub real-time monitoring, the project was able to maximise works while maintaining compliance with project noise and vibration criteria.
